THE SHAPE OF PRECISION

Precast concrete moulds

The right mould starts with the finished product. Param manufactures steel moulds, cores and pallets for concrete pipes and other precast components. Define the geometry, machine interface and demoulding method before finalising the design.

Wastewater, manholes & road drainage

Identify the owner, package and selected concrete products before specifying production equipment. The approved product drawings govern the mould design. Supply dimensions in millimetres and the factory plan in metres, with the applicable authority and project specification.

Define the equipment scope

Think beyond a single machine.

01

Product geometry

Work from agreed dimensions, joint details and component drawings.

02

Machine interface

Check the mould arrangement against the machine, pallet and core interfaces.

03

Practical operation

Review assembly, release, lifting access and access for cleaning.

A better brief. A better starting point.

you need to make.

These details help us understand your project and prepare a relevant equipment discussion.

Prepare your enquiry
  • Approved product and joint drawings
  • Material, tolerances and surface finish requirements
  • Existing machine and mould interface details
  • Lifting, opening and demoulding arrangements
  • Quantity, product variants and changeover needs

Dimensions, capacity, output and supplied features are confirmed for the selected configuration in the quotation.

Questions, answered

Before you enquire.

Can I enquire about a mould for an existing machine?

Yes. Include machine drawings, interface dimensions and photographs of the existing moulds. Compatibility should be confirmed before an order is placed.

Why are joint drawings important?

The joint is part of the product geometry and affects the mould and pallet design. A diameter alone does not fully describe the required moulds.

How should I specify a custom mould?

Provide the product drawing, required tolerances, casting method, intended machine and handling approach. Agree on the final drawing and scope before manufacture.
