COMPLETE THE PRODUCTION PICTURE

Production accessories

A production line is more than its main machine. Param lists supporting equipment including core vibrators, cage welding machines and testing equipment. Define the equipment scope around your products and quality plan.

Stormwater, culverts & maintenance holes

Start with the asset owner’s drawings and the relevant Australian or AS/NZS product specification. Sewer maintenance holes, stormwater pits and box culverts serve different functions; define each component before planning the mould. Use millimetres for products and metres for the factory layout.

  • State, council or utility requirements and adopted standard edition
  • Maintenance-hole, pit or culvert drawings with joints and openings
  • Existing plant interfaces, lifting and installation scope

Define the equipment scope

Think beyond a single machine.

01

Core vibrators

Discuss the vibrator arrangement and compatibility with the proposed machine and mould.

02

Cage welding equipment

Define reinforcement geometry, wire details and production requirements.

03

Testing equipment

Identify the test method, product range and equipment capacity needed by the project.

Questions, answered

Before you enquire.

Which accessories should I include in a new line?

Map every production step from reinforcement and concrete preparation through handling and testing. Use that map to separate equipment already available from equipment that needs to be sourced.

Can testing equipment prove compliance on its own?

No. Product acceptance depends on the applicable requirements, test method, sampling, calibration and results. Confirm these with your project team and the equipment supplier.

Can accessories be added to an existing setup?

Potential compatibility depends on the existing equipment, interfaces and operating requirements. Share drawings and photographs for a configuration-specific discussion.
